Stay Tuned...
This week marks the official half way point of my pregnancy and I feel like I have earned every minute and then some. Through nausea, vomiting, back pain, heart burn and other things I am surviving one day at a time. I am grateful to my loving, caring and hardworking husband and my adorable, loving, sweet son.
Last Friday we had our "big" ultrasound to see how baby was doing. The baby is healthy and happy in there and even gave us a little wave at one point. So sweet! We had the opportunity to find out the gender of the baby at that appointment as well. For those of you who don't already know we are waiting until Mike's birthday (Saturday) to find out. The ultrasound tech sealed up two envelopes one with pictures of the babies gender and one with just boy or girl written down. We took the later one to a special bakery in town and they are going to do the center of Mike's birthday cake either pink or blue for the babies gender. So we won't know what it is until we cut his birthday cake! I am so excited! Tempted to peak at the other envelope that is in the glove compartment of my car with the pictures of the babies gender but knowing that I will be so happy I waited.

Happy Birthday Gavin! My sweet boy turned 2 this year. His birthday was on Thanksgiving day so we celebrated the weekend before. Thank you to everyone who came, helped and brought Gavin a present. I want to send you all thank you notes but it probably won't happen this year. Know I am grateful, please! I made the above monkey cake and cupcakes which weren't perfect but he liked that and it tasted good and I guess that is all that matters.
Gavin staring at his beloved Addison who he talks about daily.It was a good party! I am glad birthdays only happen once a year though because they are a lot of work. Now time to prep for Mike's 30th birthday party. Oh boy! Between birthdays, thanksgiving and Christmas I am a busy girl!
