Our Thanksgiving Weekend

I got a new toy. Christmas came early this year. My Mom, who is very nice, bought me a new camera. Not just any camera a Cannon Rebel XS. It was on sale.  It is way more camera than I know what to do with right now but I am excited to figure it all out. Maybe I will be a better blogger now...probably won't change that but I will be taking more pictures.  Here is a preview of some of the over 200 pictures I took since I got it on Friday.  I had fun...maybe too much fun! This month we celebrate you again! We are so glad to call you our son!
You make us laugh and think and smile and we love you more than we can say!

Then and Now

He can be so sweet some days. He is growing up so fast he will be turning three in a few weeks and I just can't believe how quickly it has gone. Sometimes I forget he used to be small. Like this.

Pumpkin carving...over-rated!

Elmo was yet again our candy hauler of choice. This morning when Gavin was done with breakfast I pulled Elmo out of his hiding place to give him a candy and he declared "Melmo! I'm so happy Mommy!"

Oh if only he were that happy to see me! Either way watching him enjoy life's little pleasures - no matter how many calories they contain - makes me so happy!
