Happy Halloween!

Pumpkin carving...over-rated!

Elmo was yet again our candy hauler of choice. This morning when Gavin was done with breakfast I pulled Elmo out of his hiding place to give him a candy and he declared "Melmo! I'm so happy Mommy!"

Oh if only he were that happy to see me! Either way watching him enjoy life's little pleasures - no matter how many calories they contain - makes me so happy!

Owen...Loves his changing station. Which is currently our dresser. I think it's the reflections in the mirror but he go from grumpy to giggles when you put him up there.













Gavin...won't eat his granola bar because it's broken. Too funny but really sad because he is very distraught.

Owen rolls over!

Don't know if it counts or if it was a fluke. I didn't see it. Put him on his tummy came back a minute later and he was on his back. Seem really early. Exciting none the less.

Spitting Kisses

I started blowing Gavin kisses the other day. He loved it! He modified it though. Dropped the hand and made it more into a spit than a blow. He runs around the house making a spitting noise and laughing. Too cute! I love his kisses even if he is spitting them at me!

Mine!

Gavin: (Grabs a medicine bottle hides it behind his back) "Mine!"
Me: "No it isn't."
Gavin: "Yes Mine"
Me: (Taking it quickly from him) "No it isn't yours."
Gavin: "Yes MINE!"
Me: "If it's yours what is it?
Gavin:"What is it?"
Me: "If you don't know what it is it isn't yours."
He gave up and walked away!

Memories...

My friend Courtney and I were talking about how hard blogging can be when you have kids. It can become just one more thing to do. It's something I want to do I just can't seem to find the time for it. I used to love writing little stories about our little life on here and now I sometimes forget I have a blog. In this conversation we also talked about wanting to document our kids cute moments that one day we will forget. I don't want to forget. We came to the idea of putting one memory a day on our blog. So for your enjoyment and my own memory I introduce a memory a day or every couple days or whenever I get to it.

According to Gavin...if you want something just say "It's mine" and so it is or at least he thinks so. If you don't want a meltdown don't argue with him unless the item is truly yours. Even then sometimes the battle isn't worth it! One item you don't mess with Buzz Lightyear!

Everything is about Buzz Lightyear! Our neighbor was sweet and bought him this one!
He now has 3! Four if you count the back up Buzz I bought when he destroyed his other Buzz and didn't realize my Mom and neighbor had bought him Buzz's.
